Nürburgring lap
6:43.300
20.8 km Nordschleife whole lap, the circuit's 20.832 km full lap, not the older shorter finish. 14 June 2021. Driver Lars Kern. Road-legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R. Notarised. Road-approved production car with the Manthey Performance Kit sold through Porsche Centres. The Nürburgring's 2025 sports-car record list and evo both print 6:43.300.
This list
A car is fast when the force pushing it forward still beats the air, and when the tires and the gearing can use that force. A limiter is a different fact from an unlimited run.
Top speed is the balance point: thrust equals aerodynamic drag. The gearing has to still be pulling when the car gets there, or the engine falls off its power.
A manufacturer claim, a magazine test and an electronic governor are not interchangeable. The measurement line says which one this page ranked.
A limited example is the Bugatti Chiron.
This is how the category works. A note written for this entry appears here once it is in the database.

Porsche says this whole-lap time equals 6:38.835 on the old shorter variant. That shorter clock is not ranked. evo's feature also calls some recent laps 'without T13'; Porsche's own release is what separates the two finishes, so the stored layout is the whole lap.
