Health & medicine

Health and medicine has its own kinds of fast. A sensory nerve can move a signal at tens of metres per second. A vaccine authorization can be a counted number of days on a federal clock. This hub is those figures, written so the number on the page is the number the sources print.

Two lists are up. Sensory nerve fibers run from the fastest Aα class to the slow C fibers, using the conduction range three textbooks print the same way. COVID-19 vaccine authorizations count days from the Secretary of Health and Human Services's February 4, 2020 determination to each product's first emergency-use authorization. Both lists are short, so they stay out of search until they reach ten published entries.

Medication onset stays off this hub. Labels and references do not share one onset for intravenous adenosine, propofol, naloxone, or succinylcholine, or for inhaled albuterol, and a second copy of the same label is not a second source. Sublingual nitroglycerin is often given as about 1 to 3 minutes, without a third independent lock on that range. Blood velocity, resting heart rate, blinks, sneezes, intestinal turnover, hair, nails, surgeries, and air ambulances are off for the same reason: the accounts do not print one figure. Nothing here is a dose or a recommendation.
