Fastest Disney Coaster Launches in the World (2026)

The fastest Disney coaster launch is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, at 60.3 mph. The launch is linear synchronous motors, run backward. This ranking uses launched Disney coasters by that top speed. Seconds are a poor comparison: the clocks that exist end at different speeds, and Cosmic Rewind, both TRON coasters, and Slinky Dog Dash do not have one agreed clock.

TRON Lightcycle / Run and TRON Lightcycle Power Run tie at 59.3 mph. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Flight Force tie at 57 mph, and both pages say 0 to 57 mph in 2.8 seconds. Incredicoaster is 55 mph, with a published 4-second clock. Rex's Racer is 47 mph, an estimate. Hyperspace Mountain is 44 mph. Slinky Dog Dash is 40 mph, an estimate. Big Grizzly Mountain is 34.8 mph, an estimate because Wikipedia's 44.7 mph (72 km/h) does not match.
