Mega Mewtwo X

Game data

Mega Mewtwo X sits here because the games give its Mega Evolution X a base Speed of 130. That integer is a battle stat. The explanation is game lore, not a running speed.

1. A stat, not a stopwatch

Base Speed is the number a battle uses before natures, items and stages. PokéAPI, Bulbapedia and Serebii agree on 130 for Mega Mewtwo X. None of them timed an animal.

2. Mega Mewtwo X

Mega Mewtwo X leans toward Fighting in the games and publishes its own base stats, still with a high Speed. It is a different distribution from Mega Mewtwo Y, so it is a different row.

3. Mega Evolution X

Mega Mewtwo X is Mewtwo's Mega Evolution X. The games publish a separate stat block, so it is not folded into the base form.

Nearby on the base Speed list: Mewtwo and Spectrier. Same kind of stat. Different lore.
